Red burnished bowl of pre-Kerma/A-Horizon tradition; found smashed (but largely reconstructable) among rock outcrops at Arduan (ARD002). Red ochre was found on parts of the rim. Was this a deliberate (ritual?) deposit?

Black Burnished bowl with incised & impressed decoration - found just beside the bowl above - as yet no good parallels for this have been found.
